Workshops

Energised Lunches workshop

Feeling sluggish, tired, and slow after your lunch? Well! This workshop is for you. We at YOU CAN COOK have put together an informative workshop that takes place on your office premises. Topics covered are what to eat and drink during your working day and also what are the foods and drinks to avoid. We talk about what goes into your food and why you should know about some of the ingredients that are added. We provide all the ingredients and equipment and we come to you.

Food as Medicine workshop

The aim of this workshop is to provide inspiration and practical information that will help you to adopt healthy eating habits and to use food in a medicinal way.

The advantage of using food as medicine is that it is readily available to all of us and can be self-administered with relative safety.

We provide all the ingredients and equipment and we come to you.

Duration: 60 minutes


Pick, Cook & Eat workshop

This workshop takes you back in touch with nature and the source of our food.. We take you on a journey to a farm where you will get to know first hand information about the seasonal foods growing from the local farmer, pick the fresh produce and come back to the kitchen to wash, chop, cook and eat the prepared food while socialising with other participants.
This workshop is a complete hands-on approach to cooking.

Inspirational Talks

Bosco Santimano will explain what a social enterprise is and cover possible options available to entrepreneurs and organisations in setting up a social enterprise and look at some available legal structures and is designed to be user friendly and informal and plenty of time to ask loads of questions.


Duration: 60 minutes (including questions from participants)
Fee: Negotiable

Bosco Santimano will tackle all issues relating to Community Interest Companies and its relevance to social enterprises. Participants will understand the various legal structures available within the CIC regulations and most importantly be able to make a decision on whether CIC’s are right for their business idea and aspirations. The pros and cons of Community Interest Companies as a model to do business will be outlined/discussed.

Duration: 60 minutes (including questions from participants)
Fee: Negotiable
