Sticky Apples with Sausages, Bacon and Winter Vegetables


  • 8 rashers of streaky bacon
  • 8 pork sausages
  • 2 apples (cut into wedges)
  • Potatoes and sweet potatoes (chopped into chunks)
  • Onions (chopped into quarters)
  • Optional Ingredients: 
  • Red onions
  • Parsnips
  • Swedes
  • Beetroots


Preheat the oven to 220 degrees celsius. 

Wrap the bacon around the sausages.
Put the sausages and vegetables into a baking dish.
Drizzle a little oil over the sausages and vegetables.
Cook for 25 minutes.
Add the apples, stir and cook for 10 more minutes.

Serve with salad.
